"West Berlin, NJ – ResinTech, Inc. has received the WQA's Gold Seal of approval for its arsenic selective resin, ResinTech ASM-10-HP. ResinTech ASM-10-HP now meets ANSI/NSF Standard 44 & 61 specifications for use in all potable water applications. In some states, products not approved under the FDA regulations for use in potable water applications are required to meet ANSI standards. Organizations such as NSF and now WQA's Gold Seal Program are used to provide third-party testing and certification to the ANSI standards.
The unique chemical structure of ResinTech ASM-10-HP eliminates the ""arsenic dumping"" caused by sulfates that can occur when traditional ion exchange resins are used to treat arsenic-bearing water containing sulfates. Arsenic in water pose a significant health threat.
""We are all proud to supply a product that provides substantial health benefits,"" said ResinTech's President, Michael Gottlieb.
