ResinTech Hosts Multi-Agency Emergency Response Drill at Camden Facility

ResinTech

CAMDEN, NJ – March 13, 2025 – ResinTech, Inc., a leading manufacturer of ion exchange resins, hosted a comprehensive emergency response drill today at its Camden manufacturing facility. The exercise simulated a chemical spill scenario and brought together multiple emergency response agencies from across Camden County.

The collaborative drill, which began at 10 AM, included participation from the Voorhees Fire Department, Camden City Fire Department, Cherry Hill Fire Department, Camden County Police Department, the Camden County Hazmat Team, and Camden County Department of Public Safety. The exercise was designed to test and strengthen emergency response protocols while fostering coordination between ResinTech personnel and local first responders.

"Safety is foundational to everything we do at ResinTech," said Larry Gottlieb, President at ResinTech. "These coordinated exercises allow us to validate our emergency response procedures while building crucial relationships with the dedicated professionals who serve our community."

The drill scenario involved a simulated flammable liquid spill at the facility's unloading area, a situation that would require specialized response from multiple agencies. This particular scenario was selected collaboratively with emergency services to provide realistic training that benefits both ResinTech and responding agencies.

Prior to the drill, ResinTech distributed notices throughout neighboring areas to inform residents about the increased emergency vehicle presence and activity, emphasizing that it was only a training exercise.

The drill satisfied requirements in ResinTech's State Discharge Prevention, Containment and Countermeasure (DPCC) plan while providing valuable hands-on experience for all participants under controlled conditions.

"These multi-agency drills are invaluable for maintaining emergency preparedness," said Rolf Dinsmore, EHS Manager. "We appreciate our Camden County first responders’ commitment to safety and willingness to partner with us on these important training exercises."

ResinTech regularly conducts safety training and emergency preparedness activities as part of its comprehensive approach to operational excellence and community responsibility.
