"Strategic testing up front means fewer surprises during startup—and better performance over the system's life."

What We Test

We run controlled column studies using your actual water or synthetic solutions that match your conditions. Our testing protocol is also known as Rapid Small ScaleColumn Testing (RSSCT)—the bridge between theory and real-world performance.

Whether you're removing mercury, purifying brine streams, or addressing emerging contaminants, we design the experiment to answer your specific questions.

How It Works

Sample Preparation
Send us your water in whatever volume works for you—5-gallon buckets, 55-gallon drums, or 200-gallon totes. If shipping isn't practical, we can create a synthetic solution that matches your water chemistry.
Column Testing
We run your water through candidate resins under controlled conditions in our lab. Flow rates, temperatures, and contact times are carefully monitored and documented throughout each run.
Data Collection
Quantitative analysis tracks breakthrough points, capacity, leakage, and regeneration efficiency. We collect the data you need to make informed decisions.
Detailed Reporting
You receive a comprehensive technical report with results, analysis, and recommendations. We don't just give you numbers—we tell you what they mean for your application.
Projects typically run 1-12 weeks depending on complexity and the number of cycles tested.

What You Get

Your technical report includes:
Resin performance data and recommendations based on your specific water chemistry
System sizing and equipment specifications for scaling from lab (0.01 GPM)to pilot (1 GPM) to production (100+ GPM)
Projected operating costs including chemical usage and regeneration frequency
Scale-up parameters calibrated to your process requirements
Operational procedures tailored to your application
Need help beyond the report? We can advise on pilot plant parameters and scale-up design for your next phase.

Why ResinTech?

Specialized expertise you won't find elsewhere. Most resin suppliers don't have in house testing labs. Most testing labs don't specialize in ion exchange. We're one of the few companies that combines deep ion exchange knowledge with controlled testing capabilities.
Our chemists understand both the fundamental science and the practical engineering—so you get actionable recommendations, not just raw data.
Proven track record. We've run bench scale studies for A&E firms designing new facilities, industrial plants evaluating process changes, and research teams tackling emerging contaminants. From mercury removal to brine purification, our testing has validated systems that are operating successfully today.
Complete service. We handle everything from sample prep through final reporting. You get one point of contact and one deliverable that gives you what you need to move forward.
